Key to Garage Manufacturings' success is the fact that the entire basis of the company is comprised of action sports enthusiasts with proven success ventures in brand building, licensing, and marketing.
Joe Raia, General Manager, has 12 years of product and brand development with over 7 years in the juvenile products and youth markets. Joe has years of POP and corporate trade show experience providing knowledge for complete brand intergration
Ian Desberg is Garage Manufacturing's Vice President and is a true action sport enthusiast. Ian has 10 years of product development, brand management licensing experience and has worked at several of the industry leaders.
Eric Strickler, Design Director and Web Master support Garage Manufacturing. Eric's amazing design skills will support Garage Manufacturings' ambitious Internet efforts while maintaining premier brand standards.
In addition, Garage Manufacturing has a team of premier sales reps with skateboard and snowboard roots throughout the US and Canada with distribution channels in the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, the Netherlands, Spain, and Portugal.

Softrucks wins the ISPO/Dupont Brand New Award
In February 2003 Softrucks prevailed over 151 applications from 18 countries to take top honors for the ISPO's Dupont Brand-New Hytrel Hardware Accessories Award. Since the beginning of the competition in 1999/2000, the number of applying companies and products has tripled cementing the Ispo's and DuPont"s commitment in supporting young companies and brands in the sporting goods industry. The number of applications signifies a growth of 34% compared to August 2002, the registered entries covered the entire bandwidth of the sporting goods market with Softrucks taking first place in the ISPO's Dupont Brand-New Hytrel Hardware Accessories division. The twelve members of the Brand New jury, composed of international sporting goods industry professionals, met at the Munich trade show center to personally test and rate each entry before announcing Softrucks as the winner of the prestigious award, of the seventh start-up competition.

Improving on what is available and providing new products and services to the areas of need will help ensure our success in a market driven by demanding consumers. Garage Manufacturing will establish a service network for skateboarders by providing products that will aid in the development of skateboarding.
